You're my soulmate.
Seriously, though, that book IS my favorite book. It has been for a year and a half now.

I can see why. Although, for me, nothing can top Harry Potter. I'm deliberately subjective.LadyCobweb wrote:You're my soulmate.

I have to read a 100 page book on triangles. Triangles!
Plus, I have three exams next week. It's freakin September, for God's sake!

Triangles? So interesting... Poor you xD
That reminds me of James Blunt on Sesame street - 'A triangle... A triangle...'

Ditto. Math on Tuesday, Latin on Monday AND Tuesday, and Greek on Tuesday. -.-
The worst part is, I've got to study math all weekend if I want to pass this test. I don't understand a thing we're doing.

Re: What are you currently reading?
We ended up not taking it after all! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Also, I'm re-reading A Tale of Two Cities.
"What did you make of it, Tom?"
"Nothing at all, Joe."
"That's a coincidence, too, for I made the same of it myself."
I love Dickens

Re: What are you currently reading?
English test today on features of spoken speech BLEEEEEEEEACHH! It would've been fine if I was there for the lesson when we learnt it all.
How does the Football League show use:
-Elision
-Ellipsis
-Dialect
-Deixis
and pauses to appeal to it's audience.
I don't know, I don't like football.

Re: What are you currently reading?
This is turning into the 'complain about school' thread XD
Anyway, I hate soccer too. Football, I mean, in British English. All those players get millions of money and all they do is kick a ball XD

Re: What are you currently reading?
I got through the math exam. Now all I can do is sit and wait for the grade. I swear, getting the exam back is worse that actually taking it.
I've got a Serbian exam tomorrow. That'll be an easy one. It's just the history of Slavic literature.
And I've got another physics exam on Tuesday!
Last year of school is literally killing me

Mac, whatever we do, we'll end up off topic. It's just the circle of life XD

Re: What are you currently reading?
No, to my class. Sometimes the teacher gives as a lesson to teach instead of her, and grades us on it. It's not that bad, I just hate being in the center of attention.
On the other hand, I got an A! Good for me

Re: What are you currently reading?
Although nobody is probably interested xD...
I have finally decided to sit down and read the original Black Beauty. I've only read the censored, kid-version before and the movie(s) they have made have been censored.
The original Black Beauty was published in 1877. It was Anna Sewell's only novel, as she died 5 months after the publication.
So far, I am IN LOVE with this book. The main horse, Black Beauty, and my horse, Gracie, are a lot alike. They both have had many different owners and homes. They were both born into a nice place. Eventually, they both ended up going to neglectful and abusive homes. However, in the end, they both live the rest of their lives being overfed, fat, happy ponies.
They also have the same attitude. Willing to please whoever, even the ones most brutal towards them.
I love my pony.
I looked back on her previous owners and stables. She's had seven.
I would probably bore you all to tears if I explained horse genetics and the tracking down of previous owners.
But i'm NEVER EVER EVER selling my pony. She will always be my baby girl.
