Hello all!
I'm 17 years old. I was born in Canada and currently live in Scotland. However I consider myself Australian because that is where I have spent almost my whole life (I only lived in Canada for a few months and just moved to the UK at the beginning of the year). If you were to listen to me speak I'm sure you would agree, haha
I will be starting uni here in Scotland this September, studying Biomolecular Sciences. Don't worry, it's not quite as nerdy as it sounds
My story is about a 13 year old boy and his attempts to survive a deadly virus which has infected his small town. I'm about half way through it and hoping to finish draft 1 before uni starts, because once it does, my free time will be limited. We shall see...
In terms of out-of-school activities, I play field hockey and I also do quite a bit of music - I play the piano and clarinet. I don't listen to that much music though and am pretty easy when it comes to the genre - I'll listen to almost anything from classical to pop.
Books I like: Harry Potter, the Hunger Games and Chaos Walking just to name a few. All these series have been a big inspiration to me and if you haven't read them yet I strongly recommend them all.
