Oh, yeah, I love that book. But I haven't read it in ages.
I just finished Peeps by Scott Westerfeld and the first of the Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater, and now looking to get the second book.

Has anyone read the Noughts & Crosses series by Malorie Blackman? I love it The plot of my first novel had quite a few similarities

Re: What are you currently reading?
I'm reading Neil Gaiman's and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens. Gaiman's one of my favorite authors and Pratchett is my brother's so it seemed like a good option. Then I'm going to try and tackle the Divince Comedy.
Ditto! I can't wait

Go with the Book Thief. Looks like everyone here is either reading it or has already read it, including me. And it really is a wonderful book.
Eh, besides that I recommend Garth Nix's Keys to the Kingdom or his Abhorsen series. Abhorsen series if you like necromancers and Keys to the Kingdom is a cool concept where the main character has to beat 7 enemies (Mister Monday, Grim Tuesday, Drowned Wednesday...Get the idea?), fulfill the Will, save the House etc., etc.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Finished 'Good Omens'. This is probably the funniest book about the Acopalypse ever written. It's the funniest book in general that I've read all year.
My two favorite quotes: 'Many people, meeting Aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was English, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. Two of these were wrong; Heaven is not in England, whatever certain poets may have thought, and angels are sexless unless they really want to make an effort.'
And: 'It was a nice day.
All the days had been nice. There had been rather more than seven of them so far, and rain hadn't been invented yet.'
Ok, this one too. I couldn't resist:
"'Go on. Press 'D'. Elvis Presley died in 1976.'
I DON'T CARE WHAT IT SAYS, said the tall biker in the helmet, I NEVER LAID A FINGER ON HIM."
- DEATH on "Pop Trivia 1962-1979"
Anyway, now I'm starting Dante's Inferno. Read the first 5 cantos, and it's actually pretty good.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Just the Apocalypse in general. World ending or blowing up, Earth becoming a wasteland, etc., etc. The whole book's about preventing it and in the end it doesn't actually happen, so that detail's not that clear xD
All you really need to know is that Satan's son, the Antichrist, is supposed to make it happen.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. They wrote it together, and since Gaiman's one of my favorite authors and since Pratchett's one of my brother's favorite authors, we decided to buy it. Believe me, it was worth it.
