    Hello everyone!

My name is Ian (well as you can probably see from my username). My sister is Emma and she just told me to tell you that she is awesome. I myself would debate that matter but anyway. Laughing
I'm 14 years old (about to turn 15) and I live in Scotland. You've probably read Emma's introduction before so you know that I am originally Australian etc...
I'm not working on any kind of novel at the moment but I like working on short stories and critiquing other people's stuff. Twisted Evil

Favourite Books: The Maze Runner, Harry Potter, Hunger Games and the Revolver.

Well I guess I will see you around.

Hey Smile I don't really like one specific genre however most of my stories end up being quite dark. Either fantasy or sci-fi. I'm hoping to start another short story sometime soon.

Yeah, I love writing fantasy too. But I have soooo many short stories I'm working on, that I don't have any time, or ideas, for my novel.
But I'd love to see your work. Very Happy

    LOL Emma! XD

Anyway, I'm Mac and I'm 14 as well. I live down in London, where it's very wet... I'm assuming Scotland is too. Must be quite different from Down Under!

Are you a Potter fan? I'm asking because you say that you like Fantasy Razz Harry Potter is the only Fantasy I've ever read. I'm planning on reading some more soon, after I finish Dune (a Sci-Fi).

Will we be able to see some of your work?

Nice to meet you, again Smile

    Hello, Ian Smile

I'm Tia, by the way. Welcome to the site! Very Happy

My brother read The Maze Runner a while ago and he's ever since he's been bugging me to start reading it. I should probably try it out. On a side note, yay, another Potter fan!

Mwahahahahahahahah, my school was supposed to start tomorrow, but the moved it to the 12th! Because the temperatures are too high. It’s too hot to be in school XD

That's hot to you?! We go to school when it's 38! It's supposed to be 34 tomorrow! But no, we can boil in our classrooms listening to our maths teacher complain how the music teacher is blasting her piano!

In Egypt they go to school when it's 40/50 something XD It can't feature in my book because it's winter when it's set... so late 30s XD

I feel so sorry for my friend, she lives in Saudi Arabia and she regularly goes to school when it's 50 degrees, LOL! XD (Although I remember going to school when it was 50/55 in Dubai... so I should be quiet)

It's all about where you live, actually. Here in Serbia, sometimes it's -10, and sometimes it's 49. We go to school anyway. So, if you're used to a lower temperature, it's a big deal when it's 35 or something, and vice versa.

32 degrees celcuis. Hot? Wow. I guess everything is relative, right?
I remember once back in Australia I had to sit through this play in our school chapel. It was almost 40C and THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THERE! Hottest. Two. Hours. Of. My. Life. Especially because all 150 people in my year group were there and we were all packed in together, shoulder to shoulder on the most uncomfortable benches.

Here it ranges between just under forty like when I was on holiday here (usually 33 is the highest, so 38 was a shocker) and -18 last year or the year before in Scotland. Down in London it's -6 to 33.

Emma... wow. I don't know how you coped XD Back in Dubai, AC was our life support. When we were outside and it was really hot we'd go back to the car and put the AC XD It was so humid anyway so going outside was rare! (I remember when I was seven and I came back to Britain I couldn't walk down the high street - NO ONE WALKED there. The weather was that... ghastly!)
